GRANBURY — Fay Croy, 79, went home gracefully to be with the Lord, Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 23, 2014, at Thorp Spring First Baptist Church. Interment: Rough Creek Cemetery in Hood County. Visitation: 6-8 Wednesday at Wiley Funeral Home.
Memorials: Cal Farley’s Boys Ranch or Thorp Spring First Baptist Church.
Fay was born Oct. 22, 1934, in Granbury, to Ewell and Agnus Pace Fant. On Feb. 16, 1972, she married John R. “Pete” Croy in Palo Pinto. She was a longtime faithful member of Thorp Spring First Baptist Church. Preceding her in death were her parents and a daughter, JoAnn Hebel.
Survivors: Husband, Pete Croy; sons and daughters-in-law, Eddie and Judy Hamm, Wendell and Paula Hamm, Jessie and Pattie Hamm; 14 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; sisters, Lois Green, Dorthey O’Brien, Shirley Marrs; and many nieces and nephews.
