Robert “ “Bob”” M. Briggs

Robert “Bob” M. Briggs, 79, of Glen Rose, passed away on Monday, July 8, 2019. The family will honor him with a private service.
Bob was born on December 16, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Ila and James Briggs, Jr. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a hard working inspector for Raytheon Technologies. He was a highly skilled carpenter. He was a perfectionist and he achieved store quality pieces.
Bob married Carlene Mann on November 13, 1981 in Somervell County. He was a strong Christian and loved the Lord. He loved music and was a talented guitarist and singer. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Jim Briggs, son: Larry Bone, grandson: Brian Loyd, and great-granddaughter: Hayley Bruce.
Bob is survived by his loving wife: Carlene Briggs, children: Lisa Snow, Heather Weaver, Kelly Briggs, Paula Dempsey, Marsha Hulsey , and Jana Trimble, siblings: Leonard Briggs, Roger Briggs, Berniece Robinette, Marilyn Workman, and Dawn Hardy and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
