Bobby you were a wonderful man and uncle. I could always count on you to listen. You were funny and always thoughtful in your advice. I know that you are now with my father and Bubba up in heaven and it makes me very happy that y'all are together again. Rest in peace.
Matt Patton left a message on February 14, 2021:
Known the whole family since elementary school. Bobby loved the great outdoors and we had some great times hunting and fishing along with his two brothers and the Old Man. Rest In Peace and we’ll see you on the other side
Jim "Buck" Sharpe left a message on February 14, 2021:
Met the Gavrel's at Ridglea Pool, when I was 9 years old. Bobby was my age-the other two were younger. I was always there cos I lived right across the street from the pool-we ran around quite a bit. I've always been friends with all the Gavrel boys. Since Bobby was the oldest we got into quite a bit of trouble-as much as two 9 year old's can. The Gavrel's were always together along with my brother and me. Now all of them have passed. Bobby was a real good guy, no cross words ever. I'll miss him, he was part of my life.
Chris Mayfield left a message on February 13, 2021:
Bobby was one of my oldest friends. I knew him since we met in 1968, heck we grew up together. I have to say he was one of the most unique individuals I have ever known. I stayed in touch with him over the years and we talked often alway about growing up and our many adventures over the years. He loved the out doors , being on the lake , hunting , his animals and most of all his family. I will miss my friend may he Rest In by Peace
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Bob was a great friend and mentor to me. I had the privilege of working with him at 2 different home building companies. Bob was one of my closest friends. He could always make me laugh. I will miss Bob forever

I was so sorry to hear about Bobby. I spent a big part of my teenage years with Bobby. He was so fun! I saw him a few times in our later years and it was just like old times. He hadn't changed a bit, still funny and sweet. I will cherish our memories together.
