Alice Joy Daughtry

Joy Daughtry, 78, passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, May 21, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at 3 p.m. at Rose Hill Cemetery in Cleburne. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Joy was born December 6, 1937, in Fort Worth, to Delacy and Ella Mae Whitten. Joy was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who will be dearly missed by all of her family. She had a long successful career doing what she loved in sales and marketing.

She is survived by her daughters, Cynthia Eden and husband, Mark Jackson, Linda Speakmon, and Tanya Green and husband, Terry; grandchildren, Jen Rutherford and husband, Stephen, Abigail Eden Solis, Amy Speakmon, Kevin Karpp and Keith Karpp; great-grandchildren, Jesse E., Kiersten, Connor, Isabella N., Liliana C., Benjamin E., Jurnee, Matthew and Kelsie; and extended family, Chris Green and family, Christy Page and family, and David Green and family.
