SPRINGDALE, ARK. — Alice Marie Walbrick Penick, 95, a former resident of Lipan, passed away Tuesday, Mar. 18, 2014, in Fayetteville, Ark.
Graveside service: 1:00 p.m. Friday, Mar. 21, 2014, at Evergreen Cemetery in Lipan. Visitation: 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the Lipan Church of Christ.
Mrs. Penick was born Mar. 7, 1919, in Wichita Falls, Texas, to Charles and Bertha Berger Walbrick. She married Robert Ernest Penick, Apr. 26, 1942, in Walters, Okla. and he preceded her in death on Feb. 8, 1977. She was a member of the Springdale Church of Christ. She loved to read and to work word and crossword puzzles. Also preceding her in death were a daughter, Joy Robinson, grandchild, Haley Robinson, brothers, Buster, Sonny and Bill Walbrick, and sisters, Ann Haug and Margaret Jones.
Survivors: Son, Bill Penick and wife, Judy; grandsons and spouses, Eric and Gina Robinson, Aaron and Lori Robinson, Keith Penick, Justin Penick; and five great grandchildren.
