Alla Beth Kitchens Skinner, 89, a lifelong Azle resident, passed away Thursday, June 5, 2014, in Fort Worth.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Ash Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorial gifts may be made to Habitat for Humanity, 3345 S. Jones St., Fort Worth, Texas 76110.
Alla Beth was born to William Joseph and Susan Alice Kitchens on December 17, 1924, in a log house in Azle. She graduated from Azle High School and Weatherford College, was a lifelong member of Ash Creek Baptist Church, a member of Lake Worth Chapter #1109 and was a past worthy matron of the Azle Chapter Order of Eastern Star.

Miss Kitchens married John G. Skinner on July 10, 1942; he preceded her in death July 14, 1977. She was also predeceased by her siblings, Dorothy Kitchens, Caroll Kitchens and J.D. Kitchens.
She is survived by her children, John G. Skinner Jr. and wife, Billie, and Mary Alice Roberts and husband, Charles; grandchildren, Mylynka Kilgore-Cardona and Lupe, Kevin Kilgore and Nahee, Benjamin Skinner and Teresa, Sarah Skinner Clivati and Matteo; great- grandchildren, James Skinner, Xavier Kilgore and Chloe Kilgore; and lifelong friends, Grace Dowdle and Alice Harris.
