Allen was born March 6, 1952 in Stephenville to Ewell and S.D. Ingram Brown. They preceded him in death. He married Linda Wagner on August 6, 2011 in Granbury.
He was a firefighter for over 30 years and a member of the Church of Christ. He loved to hunt and fish. He loved his fire department family and was known worldwide for sinking a fire truck in a flood, “snorkeling a truck”. Allen was nicknamed “WeeBee”, thus the phrase, WeeBee in Route. He was the designated “nay vote” at the fire department and was voted Firefighter of the Year in 2019. He had a good sense of humor, was kind hearted and waiting for a bone marrow transplant. Allen will be greatly missed by his fire department family as well as his own family.
Survivors: Wife, Linda Brown; daughter, Josephine Siebert and husband Kieth; sons, Donald Godfrey and wife Marsha, Terry Godfrey and wife Shelly; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends.
