Please accept our sincere condolences in the loss of Alvis. Feel grateful that we were able to see him a few years ago at the Warren Reunion.
Bill and Gilda left a message on November 9, 2018:
It’s not how long a man lives in this world but how deeply he was loved and how big he lived his life. During the short time we spent with Jean and Alvis’s family during his final days, our hearts grew with much tenderness witnessing how his loving children were a testament to his life and spiritual generosity. The love that filled his house during his final days left us with such admiration. What a man he was and will always be. Our deepest condolences to Jean and family. You’re loved and we hold you all in our hearts. I am sure Alvis is now dancing to music only angels can hear and fishing in clear, cool lakes. Jean and family, in remembering Alvis, we offer you this prayer: I give you this one thought to keep, I’m with you still, I do not sleep I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glint on snow I am the sunlight on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain When you wake in the morning’s hush, I am the swift uplifting rush of quiet birds in circled flight I am the soft stars that shine at night. Dear family, I am not gone. I’m with you still in each new dawn
