GRANBURY — Alvita Maurine Shook Spearman, 89, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2016, in Granbury.
Funeral: 2:00 P.M. Saturday November 26, 2016 at Martin’s Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Holly Hills Memorial Park.
Visitation: 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday November 25, 2016 at Martin’s Funeral Home.

Alvita was born March 30, 1927 in San Angelo, Texas. She loved to travel. She Lived in South America with her husband Jerry where son Rusty was born in 1960. She traveled to England and Hawaii. In her life time she has lived in Oklahoma, Texas, California. Minnesota, Colorado, New Mexico, Indiana, North Dakota, and Oregon.
She wanted to join the Military to serve her country as a young girl, but her Mother refused to sign the permission papers. She loved to dance and had a passion for high heel shoes.
She worked for Lockheed Martin.
Preceded in death were her husband’s Jerry Shook and Marcus Spearman, son, Michael Burl Lovelace and grandson Bubba Swafford.
Survivors: Children, Theressa (Tess) Lovelace, Sandra Kay Lovelace, Deborah Lynn Hudgins, and Rusty Shook. Sixteen Grandchildren, Twenty two Great- Grandchildren, Fourteen Great-Great Grandchildren.
