Amanda Shaddox McMullen, 30, passed away Sunday, July 13, 2014.
A celebration of life will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday at Edge Park United Methodist Church, 5616 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, the Rev. Cal Hoffman and the Rev. Mary Spradlin officiating.
Amanda was born January 30, 1984, in Fort Worth to William Lynn and Dawn Karolyn Shaddox. On March 3, 2007, Amanda married Mark McMullen of Lake Worth, where the two resided with their beloved canine companions, BB and Lucy.
Amanda graduated with honors from Fort Worth Southwest High School in 2002. She went on to earn her bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of North Texas in 2006 and her master’s degree in business administration from Embry Riddle Aeronautical University in 2010. Her chosen career centered around procurement for the aeronautics industry.
Amanda was a lifelong cheerleader and also loved coaching and mentoring youth cheerleaders. She was an avid sports fan who really loved cheering on the Texas Longhorns football team. Amanda was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside and she will be loved and missed by her family and friends forever.
Amanda is survived by her husband, Mark; parents, William and Dawn Shaddox; sister, Aimee; future brother-in-law, Charlie Battle; grandparents, Charles and Patricia Shaddox and Joan Dorman Moseley; dear lifelong friend, Heather Espenscheid; Mark’s parents, Bobby and Kathy McMullen; and numerous extended family.
