When Angie and I were in JR. High a long (very long) time ago, I was shy and didn’t have many friends. On the first day of school at lunchtime I was very nervous about having to find a place to sit. As I came out with my tray, and looked out at the sea of strangers, I noticed Angie, her sister Ruthie and 2 other girls at a table and Angie waved at me and invited me over to their table to eat with them.
She made me feel accepted at a very tough time in a young girls life. I wasn’t pretty like Angie was, and was scared of being in jr high, but she didn’t care.
So my wish for Angie is that the gates of Heaven opened up for her, and made her feel as welcomed as she made this girl feel. God Bless you Angie, and may you know peace for eternity.
