Ann Elaine (Strolney) Cooksey, age 78, a beloved Wife, Mom, Grandmother, and Special Friend to many, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 6, 2023 with family by her side, after a lengthy bout with ALS.

Servce: 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 20, 2023 in Biggers Funeral Chapel, 6100 Azle Avenue, Lake Worth, Texas 76135.

Interment: Dido Cemetery, following service

Visitation:  5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Biggers Funeral Home.

Ann was born January 9, 1944 in Ft. Worth, TX. She graduated from North Side High School in 1962 and went on to college at UNT.

She was very successful in the banking business and loved helping people attain their dreams. Ann loved to travel with friends and family and her favorite words were “Let’s Go, you can sleep later”. She also loved the beach, cruising, fishing, the casino’s, being with family and friends.

Ann is preceded in death by her Dad and Mom, Worth and Francis Cornelius; Son, Keith Cooksey; and Sisters, Carolyn Smith and Shirley Hopkins.

She is survived by Husband, David Cooksey; Son, Gregg Cooksey; Grandson, Chase Cooksey; and many nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Ann was loved and will be missed by many.
