Anna Gutierrez

Anna Lois Gutierrez, 76, passed away on Tuesday, January 23, 2018. Service: 2:00 PM, Sunday, January 28, 2018, Granbury Church of God, Visitation: 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Saturday, January 27, 2018, Wiley Funeral Home, Granbury.

Anna was born on January 1, 1942 in England, Arkansas to Henry and Lenora Welch. She married Mauro Gutierrez on November 26, 1985 in Benton, Arkansas. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister who was truly an angel sent from heaven. She was a great cook and her specialty was always helping others.

“Breezy” retired from Lockheed Martin after 24 years, where she worked as a security aircraft mechanic on the assembly of the F1-11.

Anna was a member of Granbury Church of God, where she was very involved. She was known as a strong prayer warrior. She loved garage sales, angel and chicken figurines, the outdoors and her little dog Mickey. She was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, four sisters, and daughters: JoeAnna Elliott and Elizabeth Gutierrez.

Anna is survived by her husband of 32 years, Mauro Gutierrez, sons: Jeff Martin, Mario Gutierrez, and Mauro Gutierrez III and wife Inez, daughters: Denise Whitworth, Yvonne Guadarrama and husband Mike, Cathy Gutierrez and husband Robert Alaniz, Michelle Gutierrez, and Denise Cruz and husband Adam, twin sister: Joyce Taylor, 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
