Annabelle Kathryn Benninger, 98, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be in Westminster Memorial Park, Westminster, California.
Annabelle was born July 1, 1916, in Metz, Missouri. Her family moved to California in 1918 where she grew up, married William Benninger and had one child. Living mostly in South Gate and Anaheim, California, she came to Azle in 2004. After college she worked for Farmers Insurance and Richfield Oil as an accountant.
Annabelle enjoyed music playing the violin, ukelele, organ and piano. While visiting her grandparents, she and her two sisters performed on the first television station in Kansas City, Missouri. She also enjoyed hand work, dancing, family and her cabin in the mountains.
She is survived by her daughter, Claudia Linhart and husband, Edward; grandchildren, Wiliam Linhart and wife, Jill, Bonnie Troia and husband, John; great-grandsons, Logan and Gavin Linhart; stepgranddaughter, Roselynn; stepgreat-grandson, Justin.
