Arlene Haggard, 59, of Granbury, passed away Monday, July 1, 2019. Memorial service: 2:00 pm, Sunday, July 14, 2019, Wiley Funeral Home Chapel, Granbury.

Arlene was born on September 21, 1959 in Fort Worth, Texas to Bill and Juanita Eakins. She loved her family with a passion and loved spending time with her grandchildren, family and close friends.

Arlene was strong willed and was a tenacious breast cancer survivor. She loved listening to live music and enjoyed dancing. Her family have fond memories of her making candies and delicious deserts and showering everyone with gifts.

Arlene is survived by her children: Steven Garrett and wife Tasha, and Cyndi Garrett, grandchildren: Raiden Spruill, Sarah Eldred-Garrett, Kaitlyn Garrett and Madison Lewis, brother: Billy Dale Eakins and wife Anita, nephew and niece Justin Barton and Kristen Randolph, her father: Bill Eakins, many cousins, family members and numerous friends.

Arlene was preceded in death by her precious mother Juanita, who met her at heavens gate, and welcomed her baby girl home.
