TOLAR — Arthur Jackson Mund, Jr., 84, passed away Monday, July 21, 2014, in Granbury.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 26, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home.
Mr. Mund was born May 17, 1930, in Eldorado, Texas, to Arthur Jackson Mund, Sr. and Gretchen Coffen Mund. He married Alice Louise Farhenbach, Feb. 17, 1952, in San Antonio, Texas. He was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor’s degree in Dairy Science. He enjoyed Louis Lamore books and his cows. He had lived in Tolar for the past 15 years.
Survivors: Sons, Arthur Mund, III and wife, Tamela, of Tolar, Theron Mund of Mt. Vernon, Texas, Ronnie Mund and wife, Caren, of Decatur; daughter, Debra Kay Amadon and husband, Chester, of Tyler; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brother, Kumler Mund of Como, Texas; sisters, Mildred Bigsby of Ballinger, Nora Jones of Round Rock, Barbara Priest of Conroe, Gretchen Beck of Round Rock; and several nieces and nephews.
