Arthur W. Gooch

Arthur W. Gooch, Jr., 68, of Granbury passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2019. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Research Hospital, American Cancer Society, Wounded Warrior Project, or Shriners Hospitals for Children.
Arthur was born on April 20, 1951 to Betty (Pegg) and Arthur Gooch, Sr. He married Ruth Ann Grady on May 29, 1970 in Peru, Indiana. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Arthur retired from the Naval Hospital in Camp Lejeune, NC. He also worked at the power plant at Grissom Air Force Base, and Peru Utilities. He was a member of St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, The Fraternal Order of Eagles and The Moose Fraternity. Arthur was a Third Degree Knight of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his sister Rebecah Gooch.
Arthur is survived by his wife Ruth Grady Gooch, children: Wendy Gooch Boughton, Arthur W. Gooch III, and Theresa Chumbley and husband Robert, grandchildren: Brittani Chumbley, Seth Chumbley, Arthur Gooch IV, Courtnie Boughton, Alyssa Boughton, Tommy Boughton, Jr., and Maddie Howell, great-grandchild: Jolene Chumbley, and sister: Dessie Hall and husband Arnold.
