Barbara Lynn Flatt, 56, passed away Tuesday August 30, 2016.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, September 2, at Lake Worth Baptist Church. Interment will be at 2:30 p.m. in Smithfield Cemetery. The family will receive friends at their home following the interment. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Barbara cherished her great kids and husband. She was nurtured by a great church and the Word. She prayed with Moms in Prayer International for Birdville kids, schools, and administrators. She was a member and Sunday School teacher at Lake Worth Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry Leroy Kaler and Maureen Burgess Kaler.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Robert Flatt; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Garrett and Michelle Flatt and Connor Flatt; sister, Carol Ellis and husband, Marvin Ellis of Union City, Tennessee and their two daughters and one son-in-law and grandchildren.
