Barbara Gail Strain, 70 passed away Tuesday, January 12th, 2021. A graveside service will be held Monday, January 18, 2021 at 3 pm. She will be laid to rest at Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury, Texas. She will be laid to rest next to her belated and beloved husband, Willie Strain.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harmon Moseley and Rusty Mosley-Matthews.
Barbara was born Barbara Mosely on January 2nd, 1951 in Flomont, Texas. She owned and operated her CPA practice Barbara Strain CPA in Plainview for almost 30 years.
Danny and Barbara Holland moved to Plainview, TX in the late 1970’s and she excelled in a career as a beautician. She decided in her mid- 30’s that she would like to pursue a career in accounting. She attended Texas Tech University, graduating Magna Cum Laude in less than 3 years, and has been serving her clients since. Barbara was so kind, giving, patient and generous. She was a pillar of strength and support for her loved ones. She will always be remembered for her beaming personality and her beautiful smile.
She is survived by her brother, Rodney Hammons and fiancé Renee, children Aaron Holland and wife Judy, Chace Holland and wife Carla and Eleece Wilson and husband Brent. Her stepdaughters are Rachael Beauchamp and Husband Grady and Tia Tapp and husband Marshall. Her grandchildren are Cael, Trinity, Dannee, Haylee, Meg, Molly, Morgan, Christian and Bryson.
In observance of the current circumstances surrounding Cov-19, there will be a memorial of life celebration for Barbara in Plainview once the pandemic subsides.
