GLEN ROSE — Bernice Heathman Jones, 80, passed away Friday, Jan. 24, 2014 in Granbury. Memorial service: 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church of Huntsville, Ark. In lieu of flowers, memorials to United Methodist Church of Huntsville, Ark. or charity of choice.
Bernice was born Nov. 16, 1933 in Nevada, Missouri to Norman Dwight and Hazel Calhoun Heathman. While living in Huntsville, Arkansas she was a member of the United Methodist Church for many years and served with the United Methodist women. She loved to play bridge, sew and cook. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth Jones and a great-grandson, Westin O’Quinn.
Survivors: Children and spouses, Steven and Donna Jones, Cynthia and Jim O’Quinn, Andrew and Jackie Jones and Sharon and Nathan Berberich; grandchildren and spouses, Jeremy Jones, Jeffrey and Debbie Jones, Jeanne and Tim Landeyt, Jim Jr. and Michelle O’Quinn, Travis O’Quinn, Zachary and Laina O’Quinn, Kelly Jones, Eric Jones, Jacob Berberich, Ethan Berberich and Emmett Berberich; great-grandchildren, Brooke O’Quinn, Casin O’Quinn, Colby O’Quinn and Lyla O’Quinn; sisters and husbands, Mary Helen and Jim Mulkey and Carol and Dave Albert; brother and wife, Dwight and Helen Heathman; sisters-in-law, Patsy Webster and Betty Swain; brother-in-law, Emmett Jones, Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
