Bertram “Dick” McNally, Jr., 79, passed away on Friday, October 7, 2016 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Dick was born to Bessie Elaine and Bertram Richard McNally Sr. He graduated from Grass Lake High School in 1955. He married Betty Joan Hoopingarner on April 16, 1955. They were married for 62 years. He was a family man, who loved spending time with his family. He was an avid hunter, outdoorsman, and sports enthusiast. He was an expert handyman (haha).
Dick attended Albion College. He was inducted into the Albion College Hall of Fame. He earned a spot on the Milwaukee Braves. He was a teacher and a basketball coach for 32 years. He touched many lives; many of his students still keep in touch. He was inducted into the Michigan Coaching Hall of Fame.
Dick was preceded in death by his son: Bertram Richard III “Rick”, parents: Bertram and Bessie, sisters: Margaret, Mary Jane, and Joanne, and brothers: Bill, and Jim.
Dick is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Jo, sons: Jim (Linda), Jeff (Judy), and Mike (Kim), daughter: Michelle (Scott), sisters: Fran, and Patty, brothers: Tom, and Don, six grandsons, five granddaughters, and two beloved pets.
