Betty was born on August 26, 1936 in Slocomb, Texas to Jesse and Juanita Littleton. She was a dedicated Registered Nurse for over 50 years. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Jimmy Leon Wood.
Betty is survived by her two sons, one daughter, seven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
