Beulah “Jeanell” Morris, 81, passed away Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Granbury, Texas.

A memorial service will be held Friday, July 24, 2015 at First Presbyterian Church of Granbury with Pastor Drew Travis officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the First Presbyterian Church of Granbury or to the Hood County Library.

Jeanell was born January 4, 1934 in Fort Worth to Jake and Beulah Lee Morris.     After being raised in Fort Worth, she attended school in Chicago, obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Christian Education and went on to work as a Christian Education Director for several years in numerous places around Texas  before moving back to Granbury.

Jeanell was the beloved Director of the Hood County Library for 30 years.  She was honored by having the meeting room named after her.  After her “retirement” she ran and won a place on the Granbury City Council.   Her public service touched many lives.
