William Kelly “Bill” McIlroy went to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family.

Service: A Memorial Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, December 27, 2019 in Biggers Funeral Chapel.

Bill was born in Fort Worth on Dec. 4, 1960 to James Coy and Betty (Couch) McIlroy.  He was a 4th generation Azle resident and remained in the area all his life.  He formed many brotherly bonds with the friends he made while a student in Azle ISD and through the Ironworkers Local Union where he proudly maintained membership until his death.  He was a lover of the outdoors;  fishing, hunting, rodeo, country music, and two stepping on a sawdust floor.

Bill’s greatest pride and joy were his daughters and grandchildren. He loved spending time with them and watching his grandsons play football and basketball.  He enjoyed recounting adventurous tales of his life and his contributions to the many structures that complete the Fort Worth and Dallas skylines. His quick wit and infectious laugh will forever be remembered and greatly missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Survivors:  Bill is survived by his devoted wife, Kimmie; daughters, Amanda Moore and husband, Johnny, Alanna Bryant, Sloan Crow and husband, Justin, Holli Hernandez, and Jayce Hernandez; grandchildren, Gamble, Cash and Case Moore, Ellie and Gatlin Crow, Kenzie Grubb, and Brooklyn Brothers; siblings, Betty McIlroy, Jim McIlroy and wife, Debbie; numerous nephews and nieces, and a host of friends and extended family.
