GRANBURY — Billie Jo Bridges, 80, passed away Monday, Jan. 20, 2014, at her Granbury residence.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 25, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Cresson Cemetery in Cresson, Texas. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Old Granbury Road Church of Christ, 4219 Old Granbury Road, Granbury, Texas 76049.
Mrs. Bridges was born Jan. 16, 1934, in Fort Worth, to Roy Lee Knipe and Jewel Estell Click Knipe. She was a member of Old Granbury Road Church of Christ. She enjoyed square dancing and senior dances, travel and camping. She was raised in the country and loved riding horses. Preceding her in death were her parents and first husband, Ray Bridges.
Survivors: Husband, Wayne Bear; children, Cody Bridges and wife, Ferly, Scott Bridges and wife, Becky; grandchildren, Kimberly Bridges, Brandi Gray, Clint Gray, Rusty Bridges, Dani Bridges; great grandchildren, Wyatt, Joshua, Matthew, Deliah, David; brothers, Charles Knipe and wife, Shirley, Dewayne Knipe and wife, Dee.
