Billie was born August 7, 1933, in Ladonia to the late Charles Noel and Mary Francis Norris. She was a beautician for over 33 years and was so proud to own her own shop. Billie was a longtime member of Birdville Church of Christ. She was a great cook and enjoyed the holidays when she would make a large meal to share with her family. In her spare time, she kept herself busy doing various arts, crafts, and activities such as: sewing, drawing, quilting and working in her flower garden. Billie was an animal lover especially to her two babies, Tinkerbell and Penny. She was known to take in stray animals and help nurse the sick and wounded back to health. Billie was also that way with people. She was a natural caretaker for anyone who was in need.
Billie was the matriarch and rock for her family. She will be sorely missed by all of those who were lucky enough to have her in their lives.
Billie was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years whom she adored, Clyde Edward Stringer; her parents; son, Scottie Stringer; son-in-law, Edward Sherif; and brothers, Charles, Carl and Kyle Norris.
Survivors: Children, Linda and Gary Mooney, Donna Sherif, Clyde Wesley Stringer, and Marlene and Jackie Bussey; grandchildren, Clay and Veronica, Justin and Shelly, Aaron and Cherie, Jennifer and Daniel, Chad and Eliana, Magon, Kobie, Joey, and Allison; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and sister, Norma Danner.
