Billie W. Shockley

August 16, 1927 - February 16, 2014

Billie W. Shockley, 86, our angel, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Southside Church of Christ. Interment will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Billie was born August 16, 1927, in McKinney. She had been a Lake Worth resident since 1991. She was a lifetime member of the VFW and loved to play poker and bingo. She always looked forward to her summer fishing and camping trips.

Billie had a heart of gold and loved everyone and was greatly loved by many.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Allen L. Shockley, on June 7, 1994.

She is survived by her children, Robert Shockley, Gene Shockley, Sandra Claunch, Rebecca Hunt, Susan Alexander and Lori Barr; 17 grandchildren; and 33 great-grandchildren.
