RAINBOW — Billy Gene Mouser, 77, passed away Sunday, Jan. 5, 2014, in Granbury.
Memorial service: A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 18, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home in Glen Rose.
Billy Gene Mouser was born August 6, 1936 in Tarrant County to William Henry and Clara Belle Mouser. After serving in the Navy, Bill met the love of his life, Shirley Whitworth, while working at Briggs Weaver. Bill lived his life to the fullest. Owner of Heartland Supplies, Bill was the ultimate salesman and an urban cowboy. Always ready with a joke, he loved music, westerns, and God. But his greatest contribution and legacy is the incredible love he had for his family.
A resident of Rainbow, Texas, Bill is preceded in death by his parents, as well as his daughter Brenda Mouser and great-grandson Jase Robinson.
Survivors: He leaves behind his beloved wife, Shirley Mouser, as well as four children: daughter Shari Reynolds and husband John; son-in-law Doug Pryor, son Billy Jack Mouser and wife Eddy Sue; daughter Kati Mayo and husband Steve; daughter Dru Mouser and son-in-law Cliff Dorfman. Bill’s beloved grandchildren Joshua Reynolds and wife Tracy, Cortnie Robinson and husband Gabe, Caleb and Cami Kay Kidd, Billy and Jenna Pryor, Chance Reynolds, Billy Gene, Jesse, and Spencer Mouser, Zack Sterling, Christina Martin and husband Jeremy, Sara and Hannah Bright, and Dylan Dorfman; great-grandchildren Remington Robinson, Madison and Olivia Clark, Hagen Sterling, and Talon Scott. Brothers-in-law, H.T Whitworth and wife Ann; Randy Whitworth and wife Lori. Precious dogs Lula Belle and Charley.
