GRANBURY — Billy Paul Hindman, 86, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2016 in Granbury.

Billy was born on March 11, 1930 in Edgewood to Ira and Nancy Hindman. He had lived in Granbury since 1974 and built homes in and around Granbury. He was a Hella Shriner for 50 years, a member of Edgewood Lodge, Scottish Rite and the Masonic Lodge. Billy enjoyed golf, fishing and hunting. He attended Acton Baptist Church. Billy was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, R.C. Hindman and I.V. Hindman, Jr.; and sister, Inez Fisher.
Survivors: Wife, Verdine Hindman of Granbury; son, Ricky Hindman of Granbury; brother, Frank Hindman of Edgewood; sister, Maybell Robertson and husband, James of Edgewood; and several nieces and nephews.
