I met Bobbie while I was living in Croatia. She was spending a year in Vienna and came down with a group to visit our church. True to form, Bobbie asked me “Do you need any help?” Oh yes I needed help. I needed help with our summer camp on the coast. I needed help to pack up my apartment as I was moving back to the states. Bobbie, true to her reputation, immediately came to my aid. When I had two back surgeries in Plano, Bobbie was there. She even spent several nights at the hospital. We made many trips back ti Croatia and even one mission trip to Cambodia. I will miss our travels, visits in her home and mine; but, heaven has welcomed a true servant. I’m praying for her daughters as they honor her memory.

I got to know Bobbie through our service to women living at Trinity Mission nursing and rehab facility. Several of us continued a service begun several decades ago whereby we shampooed and fixed the ladies hair. Bobbie was always interested in serving. Miss you, Bobbie.

Bobbie is very dear to us. She was at our wedding in Vienna, Austria, where we met her. She was always a servant. She shared God’s love and plan with so many people! She loved adventure, working several summers at Yellowstone National Park - in her later years. And she hiked most of it! We enjoyed visits in her home, and having her in ours, even though we are in CA and she was in TX. We are so grateful to have known Bobbie! - Reuben and Roma Lacuata
