Bobbie Jean Franklin, 71, of Granbury, Texas passed on June 12, 2016, in the comfort of her home surrounded by ones she loved. Services are to be set by the family at a later date. Bobbie was born on December 12, 1944 to Veda and Douglas Stanley in Port Arthur, Texas. Bobbie Jean married her husband, Jesse Franklin, on November 6, 1998, in Oklahoma.

Bobbie loved to collect and shop for unique, antique items. Antiquing was one of her many hobbies. She also loved to be outside, working in the yard and gardening. Bobbie Jean was a great cook. She loved Cajun food and cooking Cajun food. Chicken Fried Steak was another one of Bobbie’s famous meals. Bobbie Jean Franklin was a great wife and a great mother.

Bobbie will be missed by her surviving husband, Jesse Franklin, her surviving children, Kurt L. Jones (Robin), Dawn Renee Hardin (Roy), Kevin Wayne Sain, Kent Alton Sain, Cassie D. Keller Johnson (Steve), Nicole Hickman, Gini L. Franklin, ten grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews .
