Bobby Dean Bartosovsky

Bobby Dean Bartosovsky, 85, a loving husband, father, and grandfather, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 23, 2016, at home surrounded by loved ones.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 26, at First Assembly of God Church in Azle. The family will be present to receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 25, at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairview Cemetery in Apache, Oklahoma the following morning, April 27, at 11:30 a.m.

Mr. Bartosovsky was born in rural Apache, Oklahoma on June 8, 1930 to William and Mary Dorah (Craig) Bartosovsky and attended Broxton School District. On September, 2, 1950 he married Marjorie E. Thompson. Called to serve the Lord at an early age, he entered the ministry at age 20. He lived his life serving as an Assembly of God minister and pastored churches in Geronimo, Minco, and Hollis, Oklahoma.

After retiring from the ministry, he and Marjorie moved to Azle, Texas where he was employed at WHECO Controls for the next 15 years. He was an active member of Azle First Assembly of God Church, was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing, and loved spending time with family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents William and Mary Dorah Bartosovsky; three brothers, Paul, Dale, and William Bartosovsky; and six sisters, Corrine Erman, Lois Young, Juanita Bergdorf, Alice Bradley, Lola Mae Bartosovsky, and Anna Muse.

Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Marjorie of Azle, Texas; son, Gary Bartosovsky of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; daughters Sandy McDowell and husband, Don of Newcastle Oklahoma, and Debi Meyerhoeffer and husband, Kent of Azle, Texas; grandchildren Danny McDowell and wife, Kelly, Meg Arnold and husband, Scott, Meryl Crimmins and husband, Will, Andy Bartosovsky and wife, Rae, and Angela Adams and husband, Jason; great-grandchildren Blake and Seth McDowell, Reed and Chase Arnold, Quinn and Liam Crimmins, and Aaron, Shae, Sequoia, and Luna Adams; He is also survived by one brother, Billy Bartosovsky of Colony, Oklahoma; sisters, Addie Hawkins and husband, Bernard of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Norma Bickford of Noble, Oklahoma; and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.
