Bobby Womack, 85, passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013, at home with his wife and family at his side.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Committal with military honors will be at 1:30 p.m. in Live Oak Cemetery in Rio Vista. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at Biggers Funeral Home.

Bobby was born in Fort Worth to H.V. and Maudie Womack, and grew up in Lake Worth. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served as a medic in Germany at the end of World War II. Upon his return to Texas, he married his sweetheart, Deloris, in 1948. He was an auto mechanic by trade, serving the Fort Worth community for over 40 years. He was a member of Birchman Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and a granddaughter.
He is survived by his wife, Deloris Womack; children, Boyd Womack and wife, Judy, Shirley Harrison and husband, Skip, Gwen Peterson and husband, Wayne; twin brother, Bill Womack and wife, Jean; brother, Joe Womack and wife, Susan; nine grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
