Bonnie Dimple Johnson

Bonnie Dimple Johnson, 86, of Granbury, passed away on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 in Glen Rose, Texas. Memorial service: 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 1, 2018, Acton Baptist Church.

Bonnie was born on October 30, 1932 in Ryan, Oklahoma to Clinton Wade Lewis and Janie Sufronia Burden Lewis. She was the baby of eight children. She married Jack Johnson in 1968, who she loved to fish with. She cherished time spent with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bonnie loved playing cards, games, and enjoyed traveling. She moved from Roswell, New Mexico to Granbury about 12 years ago and was a member of Acton Baptist Church for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Jack Johnson on November 8, 2015, sons: Bobby Johnson and Charles Johnson, and siblings: Billy Faulk, Wilton Price, Wade Lewis, J F Lewis, Sterling Lewis, Mattie Faulk and Theta Price.

Bonnie is survived by her children: Jimmy Ellis and wife Jan of Madison, Alabama, Gary Ellis and wife Carmel of Granbury, Richard Ellis of Costa Rica, Danny Johnson and wife Robin of Lovington, New Mexico, Roy Ellis of Lubbock, and Bonnie Delamater of Roswell, New Mexico, brothers-in-law: John Johnson and wife Pat, and James Johnson and wife Shirley, of Phoenix, Arizona, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, friends and church family.
