GRANBURY — Bonnie Farrar, 105, passed away Thursday, July 23, 2015, in Granbury.
Graveside service: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at Colorado City Cemetery in Colorado City, Texas.
Mrs. Farrar was born June, 27, 1910, in Cottonwood, Texas, to William Thadeus and Leila Hall Tartt. She married Nick Farrar, June 1, 1928. Bonnie was a talented pianist and organist and taught music lessons for 25 years. She enjoyed gardening, cooking and making her own bread. Nick and Bonnie went dancing every Saturday night at the country club. She loved to hunt doves and once killed 7 doves with one shot. Bonnie enjoyed painting both china and pastels. She was a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Granbury.
Survivors: Daughter, Linda Anderson and husband, Lewis, of Granbury; grandchildren, Lee Penny of Cleburne, Damian Anderson of San Antonio, Andrea Blair of Bridge City, Texas, Charlene Anderson of Houston; and 7 great grandchildren.
