Bradley Clayton Bettis, 40, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014, in Azle.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 29, at Ash Creek Baptist Church. Interment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Biggers Funeral Home. A fund has been established for Bradley and Addy Kate Bettis at The National Bank of Texas in Azle.
Bradley Clayton Bettis was born November 4, 1974, in Fort Worth. He graduated from Azle High School in 1993 and Weatherford College in 1997. He was an insurance agent for First Independent Insurance Agency in Azle for 12 years. He served as a judge for the Professional Rodeo Cowboy Association and the North Texas High School Rodeo Association for many years. He was a member and past president of Azle Chamber of Commerce, a member of Azle Masonic Lodge #601, A.F.&A.M., and a member of Ash Creek Baptist Church.
Brad was preceded in death by his grandparents, J.R. and Betty Bettis and Mike Ward; stepfather, Jimmy Lynn; uncle, Jimmy Cain; and cousin, Wyatt Kittrell.
He is survived by his children, Bradley and Addy Kate Bettis; mother, Sandy Lynn; father, Tom Bettis and wife, Joni; grandmother, Opal Ward; stepbrothers, Jay Bettis, Jeremy Littlejohn and wife, Faith; his nephews, Cross and Case; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
