He was born at Dyess Air Force Base on September 27, 1974, to James Roland McWhorter and Carol Ann Coggin McWhorter.

Brian is survived by his wife, Melissa; son, Brian Lee McWhorter II; mother, Carol McWhorter; sister, Christy McWhorter Fleming and husband, Lyle; son, Christopher of Fort Worth; brother, James McWhorter and wife, Kate, and their children, Brian Joseph McWhorter, Bailey Olson, Isabell Olson and Emma Olson of Azle; and numerous cousins and dear friends.
