Bud was born on October 28, 1929 in Centerville, Texas to Omar and Emily Douglas. He was a resident of Glen Rose for over 60 years and was a past member of the Pentecostal Church. He was a loving and caring husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents, Omar and Emily Douglas, his wife: Lillie Douglas, three sisters, and two brothers.
Bud is survived by his son: Keith Douglas and wife Lisa, daughter: Cathy Ivie and husband Deric, granddaughter: Amanda Dougherty and husband Matthew, great-grandchildren: Hailey Dougherty and Matthew Dougherty, Jr., brothers: Johnnie Douglas and Stanley Douglas and numerous nieces and nephews.
He will be greatly missed.
