Larey was born September 13, 1928 in Buck Creek, Texas to Coll and Lois Davis. Larey served our country in the U.S. Army. He met Barbara Privitt at a roller skating rink; they married December 31, 1952 in Weatherford. Larey worked for Santa Fe Railroad as a carman. He considered himself a “professional piddler”, a tinkerer and craftsman. Larey enjoyed hunting, fishing and carpentry. He and Barbara are members of the Glenview Church of Christ.
Larey leaves behind his wife of 63 years Barbara; son Donnie Davis and wife Diane; grandchildren Kristie Vinson and husband Brian, Kenneth Davis; great grandchildren Abbie, Ellie, Brynlie, Talon; sister Charlidell Wilson and husband Doyle; nephews Kenneth Wilson and wife Karen, Terry Wilson and wife Melody, Mike Wilson and wife Jo Ellen.
