GRANBURY — Carl B. Cagle, 80, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, 2015, at his Granbury residence.
Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 11, 2015, at Wiley Funeral Home.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Carl was born Jan. 24, 1935, in Greenfield, Mo., to William Lee Cagle and Effie Alma Norris Cagle. He married Arta Faye Wilson, Oct. 22, 1960, in Tulsa, Okla. Carl proudly served in the U.S. Air Force. He was a welder by trade. Carl enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing horseshoes and family camping trips. He followed NASCAR and especially Kyle Busch. But most of all he loved being with his family and grandkids. He enjoyed his dog, Turner and his cat, Mona.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard Cagle, Ralph Cagle, and grandchildren, Ryan Phillips and Meagan Messer.
Survivors: Wife, Arta Faye Cagle; children, Carla Phillips and husband, Dennis, Samuel Cagle and wife, Kathy, Crystal Kendrick and husband, David; grandchildren, Amanda Crittenden, Bradley Phillips, Brandon Cagle, Carl Cagle, Samuel Cagle, Jr., Justin Cagle, Andrew McKinney, Amber McKinney, Lindsey Sizer, Conner Kendrick; 13 great grandchildren; sister, Maxine Harris; and numerous nieces and nephews.
