Carlton “Bud” Zumwalt

Carlton “Bud” Zumwalt, 82, passed away on Friday, January 29, 2021 in Granbury, Texas. Bud was born February 21, 1938 in Medina, Texas Bandera County to David T Zumwalt and Margie “Louise” Covey Zumwalt. He married Janett “Sue” Adams on February 15, 1960 in Brady, Texas.
Bud was a Utility Lineman and Foreman with various companies here is just a few that he had the pleasure of working for; The City of Granbury, Dacon LLC and Chapman Construction. He was a very hard worker and worked until he couldn’t.
When Bud wasn’t working on a project he had going on, he loved to Tinker with his tractor or on his trucks. He also loved spending time with his family and friends.
Bud was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Joan McBride, Betty Pishner and Clydine Shubert. He is survived by his wife of 60 years Janett “Sue” Zumwalt; daughter, Deborah Zumwalt; Son, Kenneth Zumwalt and wife Wanda; son, Carlton “Doug” Zumwalt and wife LaDonna; seven grandchildren, Brian Cullum Amanda Zumwalt, April Regan, Lillie Molands, Josiha Molands, Ryndan Zumwalt and Colton Zumwalt and brother James Zumwalt and wife Norma.
