Carroll was my supervisor in Environmental Protection at ORNL. He was forward thinking, hard working, a good listener, thoughtful regarding others and pursued fairness and truth. I did always think he would have preferred being outdoors on a horse rather than in a cramped office trailer ! I am so sorry to hear that you did not have more time with him.

Such a shock at the passing of Carroll. I have fond memories of Carroll when we were kids growing up. He and I were cousins. My father and Carroll's mother were brother and sister. Every Sunday, our families would gather at Grandpa's house for fellowship. It was a large family so there was lots of cousins. We were all at Carroll's house the day he ran into the barbed wire fence and cut his face. Traumatic for all of us. It was evident then, at a young age, that Carroll was a kind, loving, giving and dedicated young man. A role model as he grew in age. My condolences to all of you that loved him. I know you will miss him. RIP Carroll!

I didn’t know Carroll very long, but I remember his big smile that light up the room. And the big hug he gave me when he saw me after chemo! God bless you and your family and give you peace. Love you, my friend!

Even though I knew Carroll a brief time, I remember most his being a man of few words. When he did speak, however, every word was worth a listen. I love how he enjoyed his music! My prayers for the family during this difficult time.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I cherish the memories of traveling and participating in FFA judging contests with Carroll throughout the state of Texas during our time at Tolar High School. Also, our times at Tarleton College. Our prayers are with the Family at this sad time.
