Service: 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Community of Christ, 2211 N. Carrier Parkway, Grand Prairie Texas, 75050.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Dean Alford; sister,

Louise Noey; granddaughter, Monica German; and grandson, Luke German.

Hs is survived by his wife, Lois Eileen Alford; his children, Myrna Zielke and Carey, Marcus German, Mary Anderson and Ray, Myra Markwell and Don, Melissa Alford, Melinda Jordan and James, and Marvin Alford and Jennifer; 21 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; sisters, Betty Boutz, Ruth Callier, Vera Farmer, and Verna Kephart.
