Charles (Chuck) Blank, of Granbury, passed away on Friday, July 12, 2019 at the age of 75. He was born on November 16, 1943, in Evanston, Illinois to Charles and Adelaide Blank. Upon graduation from Crystal Lake High School, in Illinois, he served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. After his discharge, he graduated from Southern Illinois University with a degree in Journalism and Advertising.
Chuck worked for many years with Levitz Furniture Company and later in his career he worked in the boating and marine industry.
Chuck was a talented artist, working with wood and sculpture. He enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, watching football, especially the Denver Broncos and socializing with his friends.
Chuck is survived by his children: Christine Blank, Joe Blank, Lori Tidwell and husband, Brian, all from Gilbert, Arizona; and Noah Blank and wife, Brandy, of Germantown, Tennessee. His grandchildren are Addie, Ty, Ella, Carter, Devin, Christian and Riley. Chuck is also survived by his 5 siblings; Barbara Monhollon, Sara Middleton and husband, Jon, Marc Blank, Sue Wallace and husband, Alan, and Cyndy Bobek.
In memory of Chuck’s life, there will be a gathering at the home of Teresa Hudson, from 5:00-7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019. Private family burial services will be scheduled at a later date at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors.
