Charles was born on January 5, 1940 to Clyde and Daisy Freeman in Mangum, Oklahoma. He served in the U.S. Navy. He married Lonada Wilson on December 17, 1988. He had a great sense of humor. He was preceded in death by his parents, grandson: Markqus Ready, brother: Jackie Freeman, and brother in law, Charles Thomas.
Charles was survived by his wife: Lonada Freeman, children: Beverly (Gerald) Ready, Teresa (Quentin) Lewis, Sarah (Javier) Avalos, Tina Marie Freeman, Kelly Ann Freeman, and Edward Allen Freeman, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, sibling: Vinita Thomas, several nieces, nephews, and cousins and additional extended family.
