Chuck Roberts, 54, passed away Sunday, November 1, 2015. A memorial service was held Wednesday, November 4, 2015 at Wiley Funeral Home Chapel in Granbury.

Chuck was born December 21, 1960 in Grand Prairie to Charles, Sr. and Wanda Roberts. He enjoyed playing football in high school; and attended UTA and Mountain View College. Always the cowboy, he dressed only in jeans, boots and western shirts. Like his descendent, John Henry Holliday aka “Doc Holliday”, Chuck was a dying breed of man. He worked his way from stock boy to manager for Safeway Foods, eventually creating the first loss prevention position in grocery sales. Trained other loss prevention employees and even developing the use of the bubble ceiling cameras in stores.
He was preceded in death by his father Charles R. Roberts, Sr.; his grandmother Ethel McLaughlin and his niece Peyton Cleveland.
Survivors: his children Katie Roberts Trujillo and husband Gustavo, Amanda Oakley and husband Johnathan, Chance Roberts; grandchildren Makayla, Aiden, Isabelle, Alexander; mother Wanda Roberts; sister Rachella Woods and husband Jim; numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews.
