CLEBURNE — Charlie Clark, 73, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2014, in Cleburne.
Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at Wiley Funeral Home. Burial: Glen Rose Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials: Cook Children’s Medical Center, Cardiac Care.
Charlie was born Sept. 28, 1941, in Clarkson, Ky., to John H. Clark and Lettie Ellen Pearl Clark. He married Rachel Hall, Dec. 19, 1982, in Glen Rose. He served in the U.S. Army and was proud to be a veteran. He was a happy person, always smiling and was sometimes known as “giggling Chuck”. Charlie cherished his family and his grandchildren and enjoyed country music, gardening and good food. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings.
Survivors: Wife, Rachel Clark; daughters, Becca Smith, Twyla Cantwell, Jackie Laws and husband, Neil, Alycia Jones and husband, Russell; grandchildren, Jen, Stephanie, Jackson, Trudi, Tonya, Ashley, Mason, Conner, Daniel, Ben, Paige, Casi, Drew; 14 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Joseph Clark and wife, Laura.
