There are far too many precious memories to post here. One of my favorites is of you and I stealing Velma’s salt shaker for her tomato plants in her back yard. We had a good run, until we left her salt shaker outside

Our loving cousin has always had a special spot in my heart. My fondest memory of growing up always includes my times at your house. I will forever keep you in my heart

My heart goes out to this precious lady and her family. You will be missed! May you rest with the angels as they’ve been calling your name for a longtime, you just wanted to go when it was time. My heart goes out to your family as they will miss you for sure. Your uncle and I will miss you as well.

They say your cousins are your first friends. It’s true. So many childhood memories come to my mind, seems there wasn’t a weekend that went by that our families weren’t together. That’s where we learned about family love. Cheryl carried out that legacy to the max. Always ready to talk about anything or help out when needed. My love to Lloyd, Butch, Donna, Brenda & more than I can name here❤️
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I met Cheryl & Lloyd in 1988 when I married into the family. From Day 1 they treated me as family and loved me. The family was very close then and is still very close now. I have many memories including asking Delbert Mr Clinton for his autograph for her, going to Main Street Arts Festival, and getting together practically every weekend to play music and celebrate. Even though I am no longer married into the family, this will always be family in my heart. Lloyd and Cheryl went out of their way to always make sure the family stayed connected by having regular family dinner gatherings. My heart goes out to Lloyd, Butch, Donna and every other member of this special family. She will be dearly missed.

The memories I have with momma Cheryl I will forever hold in my heart. Momma Cheryl took me and my family in like we were truly her own and I appreciate that from the bottom of my heart. She was a amazing friend and the best God Mother that I could ask for. I will truly miss her. Butch and Donna THANK YOU BOTH for sharing your Mother with me and my family. Love yall!! #resteasymommacheryl

I have millions of memories with my sweet nana. I could always run to her, for anything, she could see me do no wrong. I’m gonna miss her so much, I already do. She was truly a queen, and I will be sure to remind my son as he’s older how much his Big Nana loved him. Fly high Nana, I love you beautiful.

A loving wife and mother that I met years ago through her son Butch. We played in a band. She loved her music. An inspiration to anyone. Rest in peace.
