Christynn Michelle Holt, 43, of San Diego, California, went to be with the Lord at 4:21 a.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013, after fighting a four-year battle with ovarian cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 26, at Biggers Funeral Chapel. Interment will be at Azleland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from noon until service time.

Christynn Michelle Holt was born in Fort Worth on April 1, 1970, to Judy Holt. She graduated from Lake Worth High School and attended the University of North Texas and Texas Woman’s University.

Christynn served her country in the United States Navy and her city as a San Diego firefighter. She had a longtime career with the United States Postal Service in San Diego.

Christynn was very active and lived life out loud. Some of her favorite activities included riding her Spyder, skydiving, softball, snowboarding, golfing, volleyball and playing on the beach with her beloved dog, Gaia.

Christynn is survived by her grandmother, Lucille Holt; mother, Judy Bass and Gene Timms; father, Donald Teague and Rosemary; sister, Tisha; brothers, Scotty and Chris; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
