Cindy Ann Vaught, age 75, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 11th, 2023. She was born on November 3rd, 1947 in Breckenridge, TX to Joe and Sammye Hawkins. Her family moved to Fort Worth, TX shortly after. Cindy graduated from Arlington Heights Highschool in 1966 and then married Larry Vaught on October 6th, 1967. She lived life to the fullest though simple pleasures; chatting on the phone with family, going to garage sales with her mom and sister, playing games on her tablet and spending time with her grand puppies.

She is survived by her husband Larry; two sons Larry Jr. (Ashlee) and Steven (Karen); sister Alice Ackerman (Bob); brother Jon Hawkins (Angie) and brother in-law Ronnie Vaught (Joyce). There’s also countless nieces, nephews and cousins.

Family, friends, and others whose lives Cindy touched are invited to The First Baptist Church of White Settlement, 7801 White Settlement Road, White Settlement TX 76108 on Friday February 24th from 10AM to noon to reminisce, grieve, support each other and of course, just chat.
